About
Where Science Meets
Self-Kindness
For over a decade, I’ve had one guiding belief: strength isn’t about punishing your body; it’s about understanding it.
I’m a certified personal trainer through NASM, but my approach has evolved far beyond counting reps. I believe the sweet spot of true transformation happens right at the intersection of science, breath, and individuality. My philosophy is simple: you can’t force a stressed body to grow. True strength is built in a state of relaxation, and my job is to guide you there.
The Science of You
My continuous education is dedicated to bridging the gap between complex biomechanics and what actually feels good in your body. I’m a certified Prescript Level 1 coach, currently deep in the Level 2 cohort, rigorously studying biomechanics. However, here’s my truth: the textbook is just a starting point. Every skeleton is unique, every joint has a story, and I specialize in tailoring movement so you can feel pain-free, powerful, and fluid. We aren’t building a generic machine; we’re tuning your specific instrument.
The Hormone Connection
We can’t talk about strength without honoring the powerful chemistry of our bodies. With specialized training in Stacy Sims’ Menopause 2.0 methodology, I understand how profoundly hormones influence your energy, recovery, and resilience. Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, menopause, or everyday hormonal fluctuations, our work together integrates the right nutrition, lifting strategy, and rest protocols. We’ll learn to work with your physiology: harnessing good stress (eustress) while fiercely protecting your state of calm.
Where Breath Meets Barbell
Strength isn’t just physical; it’s a practice of presence. As a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200), I bring mindfulness onto the training floor. I’ll teach you how to use your breath as a powerful tool: not just to brace for a heavy lift, but to down-regulate your nervous system, find your flow state, and recover deeply. We’ll pursue the kind of strength that makes you feel centered, not exhausted.
Let’s Redefine Your Potential
If you’re looking for a trainer who views you as a whole human: someone who combines the precision of biomechanics with the wisdom of yoga and the nuance of female physiology; you’re in the right place. Let’s work together to build a body that feels like home: strong, resilient, and at ease.
